What is it?

Turner Syndrome occurs when one of the two X chromosomes is partially or completely missing. This affects growth, the function of the ovaries and other aspects of physical development.

Turner Syndrome occurs in approximately 1 in 2,000 girls. Many women lead a full and healthy life, but may experience growth problems, infertility and heart or kidney complaints.

Noelle

Lisette’s daughter Noelle has Turner Syndrome. She is the reason behind every marathon Lisette runs. Every kilometre is a tribute to Noelle and to all the other women and girls who live with this condition.
